A lot has been happening lately – the world is slowly shutting down, our lives have been flipped depending on where you are, the blot up is extremely serious in some areas and other areas it’s less serious and this wash of change can be really overwhelming. It can be quite a struggle to stay mentally balanced, free from panic, anxiety, worry and still be productive.
I have never experienced the screaming silence of worry, panic, grief uncertainty and fear; It’s overwhelming to accept how quickly our lives and the world is changing in flicks of moments. We are struggling through some dark and hard times for rescue and this is challenging.
In these darkest hours with fear raging on and the weight of uncertainty eating deep, I want you to remember that you are not alone in this and together we will overcome. I don’t know how these changes have affected you but please hang on a little, the storm will pass soon. But in the meantime, you have to stay safe and protect your mental and physical space.
These are times where we have to slow down, check-in, recharge, look after ourselves properly and stay safe. Things are going to be very difficult for a while but I believe we can work together and make it through these confusing times.
This whole flip and change in sequence are affecting everyone and the global scale and it’s extremely scary to come to the realization of uncertainty and how long this will be existing.
But amongst the chaos, we have to make space for gentleness, proper nurturing, understanding, and love. We mustn’t build everything on the fear, anxiety, and uncertainty that we may be experiencing or let the panic of uncertainty consume us. We have to come together more than ever and build a podium of unity and strength for ourselves.

I am opportune to have a podium that can be used for edification, empowerment, and enlightenment; so today on the blog, I will be sharing 100 Things you can do inside, productive activities to indulge in while at home, things to do while you are bored, things you can do while you are stuck at home to stay productive, physically and mentally fit through these hard times.
I am also just a click away if you need anyone to talk to in these hard times, if you want to connect on a deeper level, or if there is any way I could be of more help and assistance while we journey through this phase together do not hesitate to send me a message on Instagram, or send me an email. I always reply to all my messages.
I know it can be extremely hard to stay indoors for so long and indefinitely but this post will fill you with things to do when you are bored, what to do when bored at home, things to do when bored for guys, what to do when bored at night, fun things to do at home when bored and things to do inside when you are bored. Let’s dive right in!
1. Go On A Social Media Detox

There is a lot of news and information spurring around the internet that can be overwhelming and scary at the same time, as well as, the racist feud heating up. This is the time to do a proper detox of your social media presence since you will be spending a lot of time at home flipping through your phone.
I want you to detox your social media and get rid of all people, pages, and videos that trigger panic and fear within you. Some people are creating several memes and jokes about this breakdown – I believe this is beyond that, many lives have been lost, hence, we have to come from a stance of sensitivity.
If anything online doesn’t soothe you, get rid of it immediately. Do not entertain, consume or make room for thoughts that will make you panic and worry.
2. Journal

In these unbalanced times, it is mandatory to stay not just physically fit but mentally balanced. It’s so easy to get caught in the overwhelming cases and triggers of fear that have been released, hence, you have to watch over your mental state.
Just as you are washing often, taking vitamins, hydrating and breaking from the pack, it is mandatory you look after your mental health, the thoughts you are consuming, how you are reacting to these and what your mind is picking up to cope in these times.
I have been journaling a lot for the past few weeks, releasing some confusing vibes, buds of anxiety, addressing my fears, writing notes to several panic strokes and this has been liberating.
Staying up on my physical and mental wellness has been life-changing. We have to come out stronger than ever and protect ourselves. Journaling is an empowering exercise that will keep your mind fit.
If you haven’t been journaling, I encourage you to do so. While you are stuck at home, you can attempt to answer various journaling prompts that can guide your wellness and answer some deep life-changing questions to keep you in control.

When you clear the excess clutter out of your life, you will notice the positive effects it has on your mental state and overall wellness.

People who speak more than one language have improved memory, so, why not gain some more space in your memory tank! Lol! Learning a new language also demonstrates that you have a host of other skills and that could be a good boost for your profile; you never can tell where you would find yourself and what qualifications you’ll need.
I want to travel more this year after the storm rages and I’ll love to learn an extra language that will make my trips more seamless.

Changing your hairstyle, makeup and outfits can give you a whole new feeling and a change of perception. It can make you re-evaluate your life and look at certain things from a different perspective. Depending on what the change is.
21. Self-Soothe

Spend more time with yourself, do not be carried away by the several entertaining teasing activities alone.
Spend time to take care of and check-in with yourself. Sit with yourself in solitude and silence and ask some deep questions. What’s wrong? What’s right or good or bad or unsettling? What do you need? What do you need to purge? What phases are you in currently and how are you handling these changes? How are the changes affecting you? Spend time in self-reflection and stay attuned to yourself as this is the perfect time to take care of you.
