This is because social media comes with varying and interesting content that is capable of indulging you for hours without you even realizing that you’re spending so much time on it. To counteract your social networks’ ease of use during work hours, remove them from your browser shortcuts and log out of every account.

Although this may not be a 100% guarantee that you wouldn’t visit social media, it reduces the temptation of taking too many social breaks during your home-working hours.

 

20.  Learn To Shuffle Your Daily Activities

As much as it is good to be consistent, it is important to spice things up a little. If you do the same tasks every day, you would probably get tired after a while. It is similar to when you eat the same food every day. Even if it is your favorite food, you would get really tired of it when you are conditioned to eat it for many days in a row.

You will get tired of the food easily and wouldn’t want to eat it in a very long time. For some people, it can go as far as making them feel nauseous or sick. If it happens with your work, you would get sick of working and go broke.

Try to spice up your work life and get the hard stuff out of the way first. By so doing, you lighten up your burden. You may also decide to shuffle certain tasks to the various days of the week either by placing a hard task one day and an easy one for the next.
